While staying at the village of Kamari, guests can grab the opportunity and visit the Ancient Thira, situated on the rock of Mesa Vouno mountain. The
remains of this magnificent monument date are dated back during 9th century. As soon as someone gets there the experience is magic. The Ancient Theater is the place where everyone should also see since the scenery from this is breathtaking. For those who seek adventure and enjoy walking there is a path which leads you there on foot.

“Panagia Episkopi”, is an orthodox church in our village and was built in 1100. Each year locals celebrate its Name’s Day on 15th of August by preparing a fabulous festival with traditional wine, food and dancing.Last but not least, visitors should see the church of “Panagia’s Mirtidiotissas, as it brings about awe.

Each and every year, people celebrate summertime by holding Jazz Festivities and summer cinema nights for those seeking unforgettable moments.
Along the beach of Kamari, there is a beach volley court, where fans can enjoy themselves. Kamari village boasts about a wide choice of water sports activities (including water skiing, wind surfing, banana). What is extremely important thing to say is the fact that there is a horse riding experience, an option for sea lovers during the sunset.
